1. Pringle is Burton 2.0. Just a little bigger but same hands.
2. When it's all said and done Ertz's career will probably resemble Waters (8-9 wins) instead of Klein's (10-11 wins). Ertz plays like Klein but wins like Waters. He is a really good quarterback he just isn't as great as we have hoped. This year is more 2014 than 2012.
3. We did this to ourselves. As fans we over-hyped this team but if you look at last years wins we simply took advantage of a tanking Baylor/TCU to make it an above average season. Granted wins against Tech, Texas, and A&M were nice at the time but let's not kid ourselves. We haven't shown anything with this core group of players that should make us believe we would beat Oklahoma or Okie lite this year.
4. So we are what we are. The big 12 is a race for 3rd best and I still believe we are probably that team. Just a disappointing reality check tonight that the gap between 2nd/3rd in the conference is bigger than we all hoped. I think we win 8-9 games and this loss will soon be behind us. Just depressing right now.
