What is the mascot of a school not playing in the game doing in the half-time band performance? That is the issue. Not the "scene" that played out. No one on this board mentioned that, but it is a fair question. There is no reason ever to make any official reference to a school not involved in the game at hand. Sorry, that is my opinion and it is obviously shared by a lot of people in authority.
