I'm not sure how I missed this up until this point, but in reading this week's press conference interviews, Jack Cantele said that we switched snappers in the middle of the Auburn game. He said that switching snappers like that throws off timing for field goals (obviously). He followed that it was no excuse and that he shouldn't have missed his kicks, especially the short ones.
This isn't some major news, but I had never heard that we switched snappers like that in the middle of the game. I'm sure that had an impact on Cantele and ultimately led to us losing that game. I can't remember us having issues with snaps that game or injuries that caused us to switch snappers. It was just interesting to me.
