Was at the Olathe North v Olathe Northwest game. Amateur thoughts:
Jacob Parish:
- Parrish most athletic player on the field.
- Explosive in open field.
- Played RB, CB and returner. Never left the field
- Asked to play running back, not likely a future position
- Looked like a guy I may take a shot on.
Aquantez Love:
- Played RB and LB and S
- Appears to have grown, or Olathe North defense is really short
- Perhaps the most physical impressive player on the field
- Lacked explosion of a D1 running back
- Appeared to be a better coverage LB than RB
I don't know what the situation is with Love, but Parish appeared to be someone I would take a chance on. Perhaps more of a nickel, but who knows. Former Cat linebacker Maurice Mack is now on the coaching staff at Olathe North.
