Dude was in every state track event possible to help his team. Guts. Not only did he opt to run the 400 open (even though he was a 100-200 double favorite)….he ran in the relays.

He out/toughed a Kansas track legend in Williams Jones (he set the all-time KS 400 mark) in the 6A 200 final. They ran into a brutal headwind but Parrish wouldn’t be denied and beat Jones.
I’m telling you, Parrish is a MAN. His high school tape is great and his competitive nature is evident at the state track meet.
Oh, and running a 10.4 in the 100 meters to win it? Stud with speed.
