Adding on to the topic that was brought up yesterday as to why Craft is no longer on the roster, I have new information from the source himself to clarify the situation.
As I wrote in this thread yesterday, I was told Craft was omitted from the roster because of academic requirements he failed to meet this summer. Based on that information, it was my assumption (like many others) that he was no longer tied to the program and would likely end up elsewhere.
However, Javier reached out to me this morning in response to a message I'd sent yesterday. In the message, I asked about his current status with Kansas State. Craft clarified that he is indeed still with the Wildcats and will be greyshirting this season (back home in Colorado I assume?) instead of being a full roster member this fall.
So, to be clear, he is not with the current team as was expected, but he is not lost for the future. Good news in my opinion because he has the attributes to possibly contribute down the road.
