As most of you know, K-State 2018 quarterback target John Holcombe is scheduled to announce his college choice tomorrow on his Twitter account. I believe he's had someone produce a commitment video to post, so that'll be something new to experience (at least, I don't know of any other K-State target that's done that).
Anyway, to get to the scoop...
I reached out to Christian Duffie today, Holcombe's teammate at Summer Creek and a current K-State commitment himself, to see what he knew about the situation.
Duffie's response: "I'm pretty confident about it being K-State, not 100% but pretty confident."
We'll see if that holds true. My gut says yes, he'll pick K-State, but I haven't been able to connect with John directly to gauge his recruiting process at all - not even when he was offered.
