Saw on twitter tonight that some people that cover Ohio State mention they've heard some rumors about Barrett possibly transferring to Texas to play his last season. Barrett even addressed his future and said it would be tough to see himself leaving after a game like that (he could have been talking about the NFL but nobody expected him to go pro anyways)
I would be pretty surprised if this happens but there's a couple reasons it makes sense for him.
1. He's from Texas so would get to play one season close to home.
2. His best season in college came under Tom Herman and having another year like he had his freshman year would really boost his sputtering draft stock.
Like I said I really doubt this happens, but it would definitely shake up the Big 12 and make the path to a special season next year even more difficult.
