We offered a couple of JUCO Tackles last week. It looks to me like this is going to be one of the priority positions in this class moving forward.
Jocalee (Lio) Lafele - He originally signed with Utah out of High School. Last year he committed to Tx Tech, but I don't think he was able to get cleared. He was reported to have had offers from Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and Washington State. Judging by his past and the limited number of offers he has this season he looks like he could be a qualifying risk, but if we can get him in he should be able to compete.
Breontae Matthews - He visited ISU last week. He has several good offers: Arizona St, Iowa St, East Carolina. He is originally from Maryland but playing JUCO ball in California. I couldn't find much info about his HS recruitment.
We also are still in with Chris Gaynor at Dodge City CC. We have had an offer out to him since June. He has several good offers: WVU, ISU, Boise St, UCF. He is originally from Miami.
Anybody have any knowledge or thoughts about these guys? We are listed on several other 4-stars but it doesn't look like we are gaining much traction there.
