It appears as though K-State has added a junior college specialist for the upcoming recruiting class: Devin Anctil of Coffeyville C.C.
While he's a kicking specialist, place kicking and punting for Coffeyville, a look at his stats from last fall tells me he'll likely come to Manhattan with an emphasis on punting (considering he was 0-2 in the FG department).
Last fall as a freshman he was named All-Conference and All-Region with a near 40-yard average and a handful of pins inside the 20, a stat coaches like Sean Snyder are always interested in.
I'll see what more I can dig up on this talented Olathe Northwest alum, but this looks like a solid replacement for Nick Walsh after next season.
