Please believe me, this is not a comment in any way about our head coach. I am staying out of that discussion. This is just an observation of how crazy this could be. What if we finish the game against UNC and win the OT games against WVU and Baylor and the final shot drops against Texas? That's 4 more wins and we are 21-12 overall and solidly in the NCAA tournament. Our 11-1 OOC record is as good as anyone in the country with a win over a projected No. 1 NCAA tournament seed. We would have a win against every team in the Big 12 except KU. We are no worse than an 8 or 9 seed in the NCAA tournament. I'm guessing almost all K-State fans if offered that resume before the season started would have jumped at it. Okay, maybe not the 3 losses to KU, but you get the idea.
The crazy part? We are STILL 8th in the Big 12, had to play on Wednesday in KC and home watching the semi-finals. How is that possible?
