Couple of thoughts that I gathered from watching Coach Snyder answer the Media's questions:

#1 - His perspective on the struggles is better than most on this board. He gladly acknowledged some of the issues about not running the football, and throwing it too much in certain situations. But the main thing to take away from his answers is that we are staring at an execution issue. Coaches Coach, Players Play. We can all bitch and moan about the play calling, but as he said, if Joe and Burton connect on the first pass, everyone is cheering.

Not one Coach draws up a losing game plan in their mind. Dana Dimel, Del Miller, and Tom Hayes all put their plans in on a weekly basis with the intent to make them successful. For the most part over the past 4 years, they have been very successful. For some on this board, it isn't enough. I'm sure nothing will ever be good enough either for those same people.

#2 - The continued pestering from the reporter about play calling after Coach Snyder gave his answer was disrespectful. The man answered the question the first two times as honorably as he could. He doesn't believe his coordinators have all the sudden lost their ability to prepare and coach. I agree with him. They are dealing with an unusual amount of obstacles with injuries and youth. Forget recruiting. The talent they have coming into the game is good enough, but there is no replacement for experience. Anyone who argues that I question their IQ.

I'm sure the reporter who asked the repeated questions of the play calling was proud of himself, but I think Coach Snyder has built up enough good will over the years with what he has done for our program that he shouldn't be pestered like that. My vote is for that reporter to not be invited back. He sounded 15 years old anyway.

#3 - We were 2-4 two years ago as Coach stated in the presser, and won 6 of our last 8 games. Everyone was up in arms then as well, and we finished with a solid bowl win over Michigan. We may or may not do the same this year, but even with our less than stellar QB play, we are still better than TT, WVU, KU, and ISU. That puts us at 7 wins with a chance for 8.

If you don't see that as doable, then you are simply a hater.

#4 - The last time everyone wished for the program to be dismantled, things were different. The success had in the past four years along with the efforts of John Currie and staff have raised the level of interest in KSU football. Whether Currie looks to someone on this staff, or goes outside of it for the next hire, it will be ok. Coach Snyder should retire when he's ready, and if that is this year, then Currie must make a good decision about which direction to go in. Keeping the family in tact should always be considered, and I'm sure it will.

Let's see how this thing plays out. If we get rolled by Texas, then maybe I'm wrong. But.......................what if we win that one, and 5 of our last 6...............
