K-State notes that Ertz and Risner, who were captains for the 2016 season, along with Tanking, Valentine and Walsh were voted player reps for a second-straight season. The remaining nine players will serve their first term as player representatives.
And, for what it's worth, Bill Snyder told me yesterday that Tanking was the second-highest vote getter for player representatives. Snyder did not mention who was the leading vote getter. But I thought that Snyder mentioning that nugget about Tanking was interesting and so I just wanted to pass it along.
