I buy the tickets for my family and thought I would do a little research to make sure I know how everything works with the new mobile tickets. I set up a separate account for my wife and transferred a ticket to her. Once it was in her account the "transfer" feature was no longer available for the ticket. I called the ticket office and asked if the new owner of a ticket was not able to transfer it again. They eventually told me that even though she had accepted it and it was in her account it takes time for the transfer to be "complete" whatever that means. It would be approximately 24 hours before it would be complete and only then would she be able to transfer it to someone else if necessary. That doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone else see potential problems if a transferred ticket is essentially locked for 24 hours before it could be transferred again?
By the way we are going to the game in Arlington Saturday and the tickets are distributed by SeatGeek. I did exactly the same thing with my wife's ticket to that game and as soon as she accepted it into her SeatGeek account she had the same transfer capability as I did originally. I would think that is how it is supposed to work.
