I watched quite a bit of the TCU-Arkansas game and Patterson has the Frogs back to playing physical, fast, tough football.
K-State will be tested against Vanderbilt, but I would like to think that K-State will overcome the Commodores = scratch out a W.
Then K-State has a bye week to work on problem areas and to get some players healthy.
Enter the struggling / beat down Baylor Bears. I thought the Bears would be going through the growing pains of learning a new system, but I never dreamed that they would lose their first 2 games. Heck, ku might beat Baylor.
Next K-State goes on their second road trip of the season to play Texas. The Horns looked a whole lot better against San Jose State this week. That said, the Horns still have issues and unless Herman finds the magic pixie dust that he was talking about, the issues won't be fixed by the time K-State rolls into town.
Next K-State hosts TCU.
Should be one heck of a game.
I'm still not big on TCU's quarterback and I believe that will be the difference in the game, Ertz will lead the CATS to victory.
It will be a game between two physical teams.
Next K-State hosts OU.
OU looked very good yesterday but I was not impressed with Barnett (vastly over-rated).
In fact, as a whole, I believe Ohio State was over-rated.
That said, OU is still the team to beat in the Big 12.
Mayfield is dynamic.
Win or lose against OU, the CATS will be able to lick their paws and then knock out ku in Larryville.
Next @ TT... hard to say at this point in time how good TT will be this year, but they did a very nice job of beating up on a one of the best FCS teams, Eastern Washington.
vs West Virginia.... K-State will avenge their heart breaking loss from a year ago.
@ Okie State.... will K-State be battling for a spot in the Big 12 championship game?
Close out the season at home against Iowa State.
