Most recruits are 17/18 years old so I ask this question based off of that. Has there ever been a better opportunity in the past 18 years (2002 roughly for you losers who don't math) to make inroads and try and lock down KC football wise? KU and Mizzou both had some decent success in the late 00's but both are reallllllly rough right now, Nebraska while they definitely have not been a powerhouse program since 02 they also haven't been this down either. Iowa State is at the highest they've been but still we have won like 999/1000 against them or something.
Just seems like the perfect timing for us as we are seemingly on the up and have a staff that actually wants to recruit for the first time since the late 90's. Hopefully HCCK can get into KC area and really lock it down for us.
