Finally taking the plunge and investing in a pellet grill. My research has told me that Yoder Smokers (built in Hutchinson, KS) are far and away the best quality pellet grills on the market. That said, they are 2x to 3x the cost of a Traeger or the cheap chinese made brands.
I am happy to spend more for quality, and would love to support a Kansas company over China, but good lord they are expensive.
I really want to be talked in to a $1,500 grill, but having a hard time getting there. Anyone have experience with Yoder? Are they worth it?
*I would also need to drive to Wichita to purchase, as they do not have a dealer in KC. This certainly puts my life at additional risk, which needs to be factored into the decision.
