I was very skeptical of the rumor at first, but when you want something to be true so badly, you begin to believe it...ha.
If there is truly is a power struggle going on, I can understand why Currie doesn't want to be pushed into making a decision. BUT if we are talking about Brent Venables coming on board this Spring and becoming the head coach after next season, Mr Currie can surely see how perfect it could be (not that there are any guarantees for success).
On the flip side, if we are talking about Dimel or Sean Snyder becoming the coach in waiting = Mr Currie, you have my full support to say "Hell No"...ha ha.
I contend "IF" the BV rumor is true, we still may not know for a week or two. It wouldn't look good to make the announcement right after signing day.
That said, with each passing day, I believe we are all going to feel like the Griswolds when they arrived at Walley World only find out that the park was closed...ha
