As I get older, I find that losses aren't as painful as they used to be. And it wasn't that long ago, they seemed pretty painful at times. I consider myself as passionate a KState fan as anyone. I remember watching Steve Grogan, Gary Spani, and others as a youngster. That should tell you my age. I remember KState football before Bill Snyder. Many don't understand what BAD was, KU (now) or worse. Bill Snyder created the current passion for KState football (and Saturdays in Manhappiness) in all, at least most of us. For that, I am grateful and always will be. I'm guessing no one is more angry, frustrated, embarrassed, disappointed, you name it, than THE man who created the monster himself. Yesterday was unexcusable, however I find myself still treasuring what is most likely the end of the greatest era in KSTATE football history. Most likely there won't be another era like it. Maybe there can be. That would be awesome! However I am choosing to enjoy the rest of the ride (short as it may be) rather than dwell on the frustrations.
