Has anyone taken a magnifying glass to see what document J. Kirby actually signed in the photo taken for Wallace's commitment story? Yesterday, in several threads, we were led to believe that the signing period for letters-of-intent had already passed. I voiced that opinion as well as others, and felt that Kirby must have signed a grant-in-aid. So here we are with the
fficial photo" of him with a signed LOI?
The main reason I bring this up, besides eliminating confusion, is the question: why didn't KU have him sign a LOI when he committed to them? (assuming it was for 2015). If they had done so, then he wouldn't have been able to break his commit without some repercussions, correct? If anybody knows the answer to this, would appreciate you sharing it with the board so we all are a little wiser.
TIA
