I would have to think the family you are talking about was maybe coming in on Hwy 36 in NE Colorado do to the way the storm traveled through Colorado.
It was 70 degrees on Tuesday, absolute blizzard yesterday. 18 inches of snow in Erie, with wind so add some drifts, 2 hours of snow shoveling for me. Today Sunny and beautiful 40 degrees or so.
