Cook had guided the team down the field to a first a goal, I believe it was when we settled for the field goal that made it 21-13. If I am remembering this correctly, we mostly ran the ball to get into that position, then on first and goal...
- we run once for a couple of yards
2nd down we throw incomplete
3rd down we throw another fade pass to the corner
4th down kick the field goal.
after that sequence, the camera caught Kody talking to Coach Snyder, I swear reading his lips, Kody said to Coach something to the effect, I don't think we should have been throwing the ball, I just wanted you to know (I didn't catch it all) and Snyder said okay thanks.
This has been one of my head scratching moments all this season, we do something really well to put ourselves in good or great situation, and then we change it completely up........ Dimel out guessed himself all the time this season like that. I don't remember him doing that in the previous 4 seasons.
