There are a lot of uncertainties and question marks in front of us. Does anyone have any info or insight on any of these?

1) University President. Shulz has been gone for a few months now, with Myers filling in on a temporary basis. Has the search committee made any progress? Is it normal for the process to drag on this long?

2) Athletic Director. We all know Currie has actively looked for jobs elsewhere and his name has been connected to a number of openings around the country. Will we have a UP before Currie finds a new home?

3) Football Coach. We all know Snyder is near retirement. Whether this year or maybe one to two more years, it's going to happen soon. Will we promote from within, and would anyone be satisfied with that? If we hire from without, will we have a UP and AD in place to make that hire?

4) Basketball Coach. We all know Bruce is coaching for his job. Similar to the questions about football, with a temp UP and possible temp AD, who makes the call about firing him and hiring the replacement?

5) Big 12 Conference. With the constant discussion about the weakness and instability of the Big 12, and with Boren constantly making the situation worse, and with the Big 12 failing to attract any quality additions, and with the Big 12 deciding to add the CCG to the RR instead of divisions, what is the future of the conference? Does it hold together long term?

6) Media Rights. ESPN reportedly lost 600,000+ subscribers last month and has been losing millions per year for several years now. As media distribution methods change, what is the future of ESPN? And with that, what does the future hold for TV rights for conferences like ours? Will ESPN even have enough power to bid on our conf rights in 2024?

7) University Funding. We all know the issues that face our state from an economic standpoint, and we all understand that having to make budget cuts every few months is not good for the long term health of the University. Is there anything that can be done to control this problem? Is the answer just to keep raising tuition, while hoping donations rise as well?

8) Student Loans. There has been much discussion in recent years about an education bubble building in this country as tuition nationwide rises and student loans grow to the point they create almost insurmountable problems for graduates to deal with. What can KSU do to avoid/minimize damage from this bubble popping?

Any other major issues or questions we'll be dealing with in the next couple of years?
