ending that game with just 1 foul is a joke. In the first half our bigs were not allowed to touch him. He was afforded the right to make forceful contact on our players all night.
The one that pisses me off is when he knocked Barry Brown down and the ball went out of bounds. That is either a foul or the offensive team retains possession. Another one with roughly 2:30 left I. The game he entered the lane and was in there for about 6 seconds before any shot was attempted and then went over Sneed’s back to get the rebound. There is no way he should have walked off the floor with 1 foul. He should have been in foul trouble OR out bigs should not have collected so many.
If you want to bitch about any aspect of the way that game was called that is about the only complaint. Sure, the technical seemed a bit over-officious but we don’t know exactly what happened I don’t totally buy that all Diarra did was congratulate his teammate.
