When I was at KSU it seemed like our Engineering School had a strong reputation and was one of the more well respected colleges on the campus. Am I misremembering (I was not an engineering major)? Has the quality of the school fallen? Are these rankings all trash and there is better info available?

I read an update from the Illinois site about Tyler Maro, and in it he was talking about wanting to study engineering. My initial thought was that engineering could help be a strength in our recruiting, but it looks like my perception might have been wrong. Maro lists offers from the following P5 schools that appear to have stronger engineering programs: ASU, Cal, Duke, Illinois, ISU, Nebraska, OK St, Stanford, Syracuse, UCLA, and Utah .
