The CATS rolled into Fort Worth last year, when things looked bleak for K-State.
K-State had lost two in a row and had just came off a 30 point drubbing by OU.
The CATS were 6 & 10 (17 & 12).
The CATS surprised many and took down the Frogs with a 1 point win. In doing so, the CATS placed themselves back on the NCAA bubble and knocked TCU off the bubble.
The CAT won their next game to get to 8 & 10 (19 & 12).
Then the CATS punched their tourney ticket with an upset of then #9 Baylor in the Big 12 tourney.
But came up one point short in the semi's against WV 51 to 50.
This year, TCU is in much better shape from a NCAA tourney standpoint, but K-State could sure use another win to punch their ticket and lock up 4th place in the Big 12 (and a potential tie for 3rd place).
55/45 = TCU (hope I'm wrong).
