Retired. I don't think we really appreciated the hard work he did with recruiting.....calling recruits, family, etc. Reportedly he would discuss their expected position, how they were doing, etc. Really a 'helicopter mom'! For all of the crap he caught in his last few years, he really did a bunch to advance athletics.
