To me, this is the biggest problem with this team, and I never saw it coming. The last 5 or 6 games of last year, this was an excellent running team. Returned virtually everyone and we can't run the football...I don't get it. Barnes doesn't even look like the same guy. Silmon has shown some flashes but not today. Did losing Teralle (sp?) Johnson and Reid Najvar make the difference? Why can't this team run the football? I'm sure some will say that teams are taking it away, but did they not try to take it away last year? Of course they did and yet they couldn't.
IMO, the defense has been better than expected to this point and the offense has been beyond disappointing. I expected this offense to be as good or better at running the ball and the passing game to improve based off of the stellar running attack....it's puzzling to me that this team is struggling to produce a running game.
