Did anyone else notice that on the last defensive series when they had 3rd and 18 that we switched Shelley over to the defensive right side to play man-man on Lazard. He stayed there covering Lazard for the next 3 plays including the 3rd down when he broke up the pass that would have won the game for ISU.
In case you did not know, Shelley has played exclusively on the left side of the defensive formation all season including every play in this game minus the final 4 plays. This was a key defensive decision that helped win the game for us.
