These lists don't copy and paste well so click on the link and scroll down about 1/3 of the way and look at NCAA tournament results. K-State and Cincy had quite a run from 1958 through 1964. K-State was in the dance four times and Cincy was in six times and they played each other three times in 1958, 1959 and 1961 with K-State winning 83-80 in OT in 1958 and moving on the the Final Four.. Cincy also beat ku in 1960 in a year when the birds and K-State tied in the Big 8 and K-State lost in a one game playoff in Manhattan. (80-82)
Cincy played in THREE national championships beating Ohio State in 1961 and 1962 and losing the title game to Loyola Chicago in 1963. All of the Championship games took place AFTER Oscar Robertson went to the NBA.
