you can call me out for supporting Bruce, say I'm ridiculous and stupid or whatever you wanna say but I'm going to do it anyway...
First of all, I'm not ignoring all of what has happened the last two seasons. The program has taken a big step backwards and I see that and am as frustrated as the next guy. What makes me different is I am going to look at the future and this past season in a different light. We went 17-16 this season, yes I know not good, but were one or two plays away from winning about 6 or 7 of those 16 losses. If we win three of those games we'd have 20 win season and there's a chance we woulda been in the tournament! That is how small the margin of error is in basketball. Now you can say that it's Bruce's fault or say that our team doesn't have a "clutch" gene but I'm willing to say that three of those seven close losses were just a case of bad luck and we can improve on this season. Our whole team is coming back basically and I'm really excited for Diarra and Sneed coming in and making an impact. I've been purple down to the bone ever since I was born and I'm never going to root against our coaches and give up when I can still see hope. Call me delusional but I'm going to give Bruce one more season to make the tourney and turn the ship around, if he doesn't then I'll proudly jump off the sinking ship and say he needs to go. Lastly, gmfc (Go Mother F'ing Cats).
