Yesterday was National Signing day, and a rather uneventful one for K-State.
But in all seriousness, the wind yesterday was nasty as I've ever seen. We were fortunate here.
But the images coming out of West Central Kansas this morning are heart wrenching. Paradise, Natoma, Russell area were devastated by wildfires. Homes, farms, entire cattle herds, completely gone. This was a widespread loss of cattle and entire farms. Entire cattle herds farmers and ranchers have built and raised for years are gone. Even the ones who may not have lost their herds have no grass or hay left for their livestock. These farmers and ranchers need many prayers.
