Makol Mawien - 1st KSU bball player from the state of Utah?

After reviewing the KSU media guide I believe that Makol Mawien will be the first basketball player KSU has ever had from the state of Utah. This kind of surprised me since Utah has a population of nearly 3 million people and it is not that far away from KS.
