First off for all the Weber defenders no losing to the #1 team shouldn't get a coach fired but let's be real, it's not looking good for HCBW.
Someone asked me the other day who we'd go for if we fired Weber. This being a message board to openly discuss and share ideas I figured I'd ask who people thought would be solid REALISTIC hires IF we fire Bruce. Here were some of the coaches in my post from that thread the other day. I broke them into three categories:
Guys who will probably say no but you've got to force them to say so:
Greg Marshall-WSU
Chris Mack-Xavier
Archie Miller-Dayton
Fred Hoiberg-Bulls (likely to get fired)
And yes even Underwood
Probably could get but no slam dunks:
Randy Bennett-Saint Marys
Wojo-Marquette
Tin Jankovich-SMU
Taking a flyer on mid major guys, will almost certainly say yes:
David Richman-NDSU
Dan Muller-Illinois St
Kevin Keatts-UNC Willmington
Who would make your list and yes we would all love Coach K to come here but let's attempt to keep it realistic.
