K-State would play it's final regular season game the 3rd week of November, usually against Mizzou. Then the day after Thanksgiving would be Nebraska/OU, then eventually Nebraska/CU, and the Lone Star Showdown.....those games always had conference title implications, if not national implications. I'm glad to have a historic home game tomorrow but part of me misses the 90's/early 2000's.
