2016-17 numbers by class
Freshmen (currently 2 recruits...2 redshirts): James Love (Center) Xavier Sneed (SF) Isaiah Maurice RFR (SF) Dante Williams RFR (Center)
Sophomore: Barry Brown (Guard), Ron Freeman (SF), Dean Wade (PF), Kamau Stokes (G)
Juniors: None
Seniors: Wesley Iwundu (SF), DJ Johnson (PF), Carilbe Ervin (G)
I think this is accurate. Correct me if wrong. We have 2 scholarships left if I'm not mistaken. With the current class make up are we in on any other big guys or are we going into next season with Wade/Johnson and the 3 Freshmen that have never played? Wondered if there were any junior college bigs that might be possible. Sure would be nice to grab a 5th year senior willing to transfer and play right away. I know last year killed our numbers so getting them in order will take a few years. I do think from watching Brown/Stokes/Wade that we will be have good leadership in 2018 when we have no seniors. Can't imagine we use both scholarships for this coming class...but I don't see someone like Freeman staying long term either. Thoughts from you experts?
