Just interested to hear about everyone's experience with the new metal detectors. I personally think they were a huge waste of resources. I intentionally loaded my pockets with as much change, flashlight, cell phone charger, etc as I could. Metal detector beeped, so I went to the side and got wanded. Kid asked if I had a belt, I replied yes, and was sent on in without issues. Wondered if anyone had to leave behind a harmless pocket knife.
