For those with closer ties to Snyder's early years, here is a question I have wondered for quite some time but never remembered to ask:

Is Alan Friedrich, who played on Snyder's first KSU team in 1989, possibly any relation to Snyder's long time assistant Joan Friedrich?

The article below says she has children and grandchildren but it does not name them.
