Did anybody else get visions of the Auburn kid who ran back the missed field goal against Alabama when McCrane went out for that long attempt. That was my first thought when he came out for it and OU put a couple guys back there. I didn't watch our players after he kicked it but guess they were in no position to be prepared to stop someone a lot faster then anyone on kicking team. To bad that ball bounced the wrong way.
It also baffles me at some of the plays teams run on the desperation last play. I know that it was about a 1 in a trillion chance of working but if I were a coach and was in our position on the last play I'm putting the ball in my fastest player's hand and say go do what you can. Forget the hook and ladder or throwback. I would have put DJ on the field and got him the ball and tried to set up some blocking.
