I have only been following recruiting closely for the past few years but I was thinking about some of the big recruits we have supposedly had a shot at and lost. Who are some players that showed interest or even committed but we couldn't reel in?
A few that come to mind.
Cam Newton: Did we ever actually have a shot?
Vince Young: See above
Omar Jacobs: Turned into a very solid Qb for Bowling Green. I always thought he could have done quite nicely here.
