My senior year (71), we played Tulsa there
rainy, muddy, terrible field.
2 plays into the game and everyone is covered with mud. Can’t see numbers, can barely tell the teams apart.
somewhere in the 1st half Mo gets into it with someone.
first thing is Mo punched the guy in the should pads and knock him flat. Pretty strong dude.
second - we really need Mo on the field. Everyone kind of groups around him and hustles him off the field
refs are trying to sort things out, eject the player from the other team. They have no idea who it was on our side.
finally they ask Vince. Lol
Vince gives them Roger Hilton , my back up. Hilton hasn’t been in the game yet.
so 1: His uniform is almost spotlesd
2: He’s white.
ref ejects Hilton and on we go 🤪
