I'm not one of the outspoken posters that take shots at Weber at every turn, in fact, I've been supportive of Weber for the most part.
BUT I was about as disappointed as I could be in K-State's performance against Okie State.
The performance was almost as embarrassing as Okie State's crowd (what the fudge... in the dictionary, there must be a picture of Okie State under "fair weather fans").
The GPC title, "sleepwalk" is very fitting. It almost seemed like K-State was in some kind of zombie zone.
All of the fricking turnovers to begin the game was unexplainable.
But ... but ... but, then I thought, everything is going to be okay, some how the CATS survived regulation and will take care of business in over-time. By the way, we couldn't get a decent shot at the end of regulation??
Oh and if you're going to miss free throws, do it early in the game, versus crunch time...ha.
Unfortunately, the CATS did not wake up in over-time.
K-State destroyed Okie State in Manhattan and Evans played for the Pokes that day. I just cannot understand how badly K-State played in Stillwater against a bad team. Oh wait, it was the rowdy capacity crowd in Stillwater that shook up the CATS...LOL.
That's it, the tiny Okie State crowd lulled the CATS to sleep. Sometimes you just have to talk about something to discover the answer.
