I came to the game in Manhattan on Saturday and this was my first trip back in 10 years. I have been to an away game every year and met the best that KSU has to offer at those games. However, the a$$ I set next to Saturday (Sec 21, Row 1, Seat 17) made me feel like we have lost some of our class. I believe he may even be a season ticket holder since he had the purple cushion on his seat. He reminded me of the Fresno State fans I saw in California that made me promise to never go back to their stadium even though I live 2 hours away.
He was flipping the LT fans off and yelling at them to go home the whole second half.
Even worse was what he was saying to our players. He was yelling at them to do something right for a change through out the second half. At several points he was yelling for someone to hurt Huebner and get him out of the game. I finally asked if he wanted Banks in the game. He said no he wanted Delton. I told him that wasn't going to happen. He still kept saying he wanted Huebner out. You know at times in my life I have wanted a different player in but, I will never say that I want someone to get hurt.
On a positive note I did talk to an LT family on Sunday morning and they said they had a really good time and enjoyed the game. Just not as much as they would have if they won.
If this a$$ is on GPC then I am not sorry that I have called him names.
