Which I attended in person is lengthy.
1st royals ran into a buzz saw, pitchers threw cripples, infielders, save Moose looked like minor leaguers which I will detail later, hitters, Cain and Morales need to start hitting and most of all need to hit with runners on base.

Also, maybe the royals don`t realize it yet., they are going to get the other Team`s best efforts, they are playing with a Target on their backs. Maybe Ned might remind them they are last year`s defending champion, but haven`t won anything yet this year.

Here is what I saw. The Angels gave a great effort and made some breaks for themselves. Their defensive positioning was flawless and they made some great plays. In Mondays`s game Pennington seemed to be playing behind the 1st baseman on several shots by Morales and turned them into routine outs. The left fielder a rookie was only a little short of sensational on defense and chipped in with some timely hits.

Kennedy and volquez threw some really gut balls when they were ahead in the count and got hurt. soria was the same and fortunately only went 1 inning in 2 different games.

Royals defense usually great, was shoddy in the infield, Escobar making several errors and seemed to be out of position. Infante stopped several tough chances, but still is a liability throwing, both from the strength and accuracy standpoints. Hosmer seems to think he is a second baseman and plays so far off the bag he booted a ball which was hit to the normal 2nd base position. Infante was right there and could have easily handled the play. Also, the infield appeared to be Arizona hard. On the flip side Gordon was his usual self defensively with several nice plays, but appears to want to lead the league striking out. He did hit several balls pretty hard to the outfield.
The weather was really cold and windy. If I never get to California again it will be too soon.

Royals fans were out in record numbers and before the game they lined up in the stands from home plate to right field during Royals batting practice and during the game when the boys did something good, they cheered loud enough so that it seemed to be a home game. Too bad the Royals couldn`t come up with a better effort.

Any questions on anything you guys might have seen on TV?
