I was a John Currie supporter while he was here, but felt a year or more ago, it may be time he moved on. I'm guessing based on rumors he was looking, he did to. Was he the best AD we ever had? No. Was he one of the best AD's we've had? Maybe. Time will tell. He accomplished what he was brought here to do, and that which we desperately needed him to. That, I thank him for. However he fell well short in other areas, and for that I'm disappointed, but will forgive him for. No one is perfect. He has left us in a much better position, facility and financially wise, then most would have thought possible eight years ago. Now a new AD, who's strengths hopefully are in those other area's, can come in, take advantage of the good things Currie was able to do, and lead the department forward. I neither despise Currie, or hold him in any grand standing. He came in, did the job he was hired to do, and left. All be it, a little latter then all, including probably him, would have liked.
