I’m sorry guys & gals, but changes have to be made! I love Snyder as much as anyone else & like I said, I remember the 80’s. But I also remember the mid 90’s – 2003 when KSU was a legit national title candidate every single year. So then what changes need to be made? If it is true that no decent assistant coach will come to KSU because of Snyder’s age, then that means we are stuck with this coaching staff until Snyder calls it quits. Is this what we really want?
So where does KSU – not the coaching staff move on from this? The reason that I say it is a KSU “problem/thing” is because we all know Snyder’s unwillingness to fire anyone. Del Miller & Mo Latimore have tied themselves to Snyder’s coattails & you can make a case that Dana Dimel has too. Miller & Latimore are basically stealing money from KSU at this point. Go back and look at the recruits that they’ve brought to KSU over the last 5 years. So Snyder’s unwillingness to fire an assistant coach, leaves me to believe that Currie needs to get involved. Now to what end does Currie get involved? I don’t know, but I truly believe that he needs to tell Snyder that changes need to be made. “But there isn’t a decent coach that will come to KSU given Snyder’s age” is what a LOT of posters on here say. Then what’s the alternative? Let this garbage continue? If you truly believe this, then KSU is heading down the road towards another 2004 season.
