It is truly disappointing that Venables will not be coming to KSU this year. Especially since it sounds like at a point in time it was (well connected persons opinion) a 75% chance of happening. I will feel a little bit better if Leavitt does come back to KSU, but he's still 60 years old. How much longer is her going to want to coach? Is he just a stop-gap?

What's the most concerning to me is this "time frame" that keeps coming up. Is Snyder holding Currie & KSU hostage by refusing to give a time frame on how much longer he intends to coach? Does Currie want things to move quicker than Snyder wants?

Believe it or not, but Snyder is holding the football program hostage by admit to coach year to year. This does nothing but handcuffs Currie every single year. Hell, it wasn't until last week or two weeks ago that Snyder said he was going to be back for the 2016 season. Gee thanks for that coach!! What if he had said that he was going to retire? Then Currie would have to get the next coach hired, the next coach would then have to get a staff together & try to get a half-assed recruiting class put together.

Look, I admire, respect & love Snyder & what he's done at KSU as much as every one else. But does he really not see how this is hurting the football program? I truly hope that he does and that this will be his last season at KSU, because if it's not just imagine what the recruiting class will be like next year
