Alright. There've been plenty of questions about Mychealon Thomas, the Butler County CC defensive tackle, today, particularly in the thread about Ceasar Williams visit. As to not clutter that thread up any more, I'll just post what I've learned here.
Obviously Thomas and K-State's relationship has either been slow to develop or is extremely new because his name hadn't come up seriously with the Wildcats until early last week to my knowledge. He committed to Texas Tech back in May and is originally from Skyline High in Dallas, TX (home of fellow Wildcats Marquel Bryant and Charmeachealle Moore).
As I posted before, Thomas told me he would not be taking an official to K-State this weekend because he's already had one scheduled for Texas Tech (Jan. 22). When I asked Thomas if he had any intentions at all of visiting K-State before Signing Day (only chance would be Jan. 29), the defensive tackle said, "If I feel like Tech is my home when I visit, then no."
Given the way he's been interacting on social media with fellow Tech commits and prospective Red Raider prospects, I'm going to put slim odds on him ever visiting Manhattan. Maybe he comes just for the trip, but this seems like a tough sell for the Wildcats so late.
