The deadline to withdraw from the NBA draft and keep college eligibility is Wednesday night at 11:59. That's a pretty important date for lots of Big 12 teams and for some of K-State's opponents.

Kansas has already gotten good news from Jalen Wilson and they expect to get the same news from both Remy Martin and Ochai Agbaji. If all three return, they would start the year as a top 3 team in the NCAA and the favorite to win the Big 12.

Texas Tech is anxiously awaiting the decision of Terrence Shannon. Mark Adams has done a pretty remarkable job of quickly rebuilding the Tech roster, but the return of Shannon (which is thought to be 50/50 at this moment) would give them a legitimate 1st team all Big 12 type of scorer.

West Virginia got good news this weekend with the return of Sean McNeil, but also are going to lose Miles McBride as he announced he is staying in the draft this weekend.

Wichita State is expected to receive good news with the return of Tyson Etienne. He was by far their best player last year and with him, are a top 40ish team to start the year.

Marquette transfer Dawson Garcia has announced a final four of Marquette, Illinois (possible KSU opponent), North Carolina and Arizona. He also has not pulled out of the draft yet.

Dalano Blanton has decided to remain in the draft and not return to Nebraska.

Iowa State's Izaiah Brockington (Penn State transfer) has withdrawn his name from draft.

A little old but Jericho Sims signed with a non-NCAA certified agent so he is not eligible to return to college basketball. Will remain in the draft.

Also old but Baylor transfer James Akinjo was granted eligibility for next year. He needed the waiver because he was a second time transfer. Baylor starting lineup looks like Akinjo, Cryer, Flagler, Mayer and JTT.
