Need help from K-State vets for my cat

Any ideas on what could be going on with my cat? She eats frequently (at least every 2 hours for wet food - 1/4 of a can of food plus added pureed Gerber pumpkin in addition to 1/2 cup of dry food per day) and seems to be pooping out everything she consumes. This has been going on for about 3 months. Her blood tests showed that she is seriously B-12 deficient and we have been giving her subcutaneous injections for that condition (weekly for 6 weeks, semi-monthly for 6 months, then monthly). Previously, she was vomiting several times a day, but that has abated since we removed poultry from her diet and started the B-12 shots 3 months ago.

I am very worried about my kitty. The vet here (Not a K-State vet!) says she either has IBS or Lymphoma, and to diagnose lymphoma would require an invasive procedure which we would like to avoid.

I would appreciate any ideas. I have great faith in our K-State veterinarians!
